Hello My name is Shantel Jackson and Im addicted to HIGH HEELS!
Ive been in love with high heels ever since I could remember. The satisfaction I got and still get when slipping on a pair of heels is like an addiction to a drug. And no matter how much pain they caused, I still wanted them. Over 500 pairs in and counting!
In 2009 Shoe Gummi started with one thought….. How can I make MY high heels more comfortable? The wheels got to turning and my first Gummi concept was born. From that first concept, I used it on every pair of high heels possible at the time. It wasn't until 5 and half years ago, I thought to make it a consumer product for all women to enjoy.
Through years of my own personal use, and months of Lab Testing, I was able to get visual data on how Shoe Gummi works and was able to perfect my products design. My work didn't stop there, it took 2.5 years for my Patent to go through and that still wasn't the last leg. The design of Shoe Gummi has been the most tedious task with going through 100's of design changes and adjustments.
I can honestly tell you there were so many times, I want to throw in the towel and I've had so many sleepless night with thinking things were not going to workout. BUT..... I kept at it because I believed in Shoe Gummi.
Now... I'm so proud to offer a line of products to help women experience the comfort I get in my high heels.
The importance of our first Shoe Gummi Lab Testing, was to test the product in early development. Confirm that it was effective, optimize product design and begin to create marketing data based on performance.
During the testing 8 women walked in high heels with and without Shoe Gummi prototypes attached. Their feet were equiped with in shoe sensors that would show pressure on the ball of the foot. In high heels and the less pressure means more comfort.
During the testing the effectiveness of the product tested well. But the stability of the product raised some cause for concern. We had to figure how to fix the the products stability issues and fast. And with the help of the lab testing facility, Shoe Gummies now safe and stable design was born.
Once the products design was adjusted, Shoe Gummi under went another round of lab testing and passed with flying colors.
Computer-aided design (CAD) is a computer technology that designs a product and documents the design's process.
Through this process we were able to come up with Shoe Gummies finalized design today.
But it took years and hundreds of designs to get it right. So that we may facilitate the manufacturing process by transferring detailed diagrams of the product and dimensions to get tooling made that would start the actual manufacturing process.
Whats a Patent?
A patent is a right granted to an inventor by the federal government that permits the inventor to exclude others from making, selling or using the invention for a long period of time.
From the start of filing Shoe Gummi Patent Application to it being Granted in 2018. It took over 2 and half years to finally be approved
